A 1950s Glenmoor-era original and a newer east side build need two very different systems, and Fremont has plenty of both. We size and install the whole system for the house in front of us, not the last one we did.

If the furnace and AC are both old, yes, matching them as a system is usually the better spend. We quote both paths.
