Residential AC condenser unit beside a Bay Area home

Problems we fix every day.

AC won't turn on

If your central AC or mini-split stays off, we check power, controls, safeties, capacitors, and thermostat signals.

Warm air from vents

Weak cooling can come from low refrigerant, dirty coils, airflow restrictions, failed valves, or compressor problems.

Short cycling or shutdowns

Frequent starts, stops, or trips can point to clogged filters, frozen coils, bad sensors, or oversized equipment.

Leaking indoor unit

Water near the furnace, air handler, or wall cassette often means a plugged drain, cracked pan, or icing coil.

Fixed on the first visit.

Same-day, often within hours

Call by noon and we usually have a tech on-site that afternoon. No-cool calls during heat events jump to the front of the queue.

Flat fee + upfront pricing

Diagnostic fee is fixed. Any repair quote is written down before we open a wrench, so there are no surprises on the invoice.

Parts on the truck

Capacitors, contactors, common refrigerants, motors, fan blades, control boards for major brands. Most fixes finish on the first visit.

FAQ

Common questions.

How fast can you actually get out for AC repair?

Same-day for most calls during cooling season. No-cool calls during a heat event take priority. Call (650) 698-7979 and we will give you a real ETA before you commit, not a vague window.

How much does AC repair cost?

The diagnostic fee is flat. Most common repairs (capacitor, contactor, refrigerant top-up) land in the $200–$600 range. Larger jobs (compressor, evaporator coil) are quoted in writing before any work starts. See our maintenance plan for repair discounts.

Do you work on every brand?

Yes. Carrier, Lennox, Trane, Mitsubishi, Daikin, Goodman, Rheem, plus most mini-split brands and older systems most shops avoid. We do not turn down work because a system is older or unusual.

Should I repair or replace my AC?

Rule of thumb: if the unit is 12+ years old and the repair quote exceeds half the cost of a new installation, replacement usually wins on efficiency and reliability. We will lay out both numbers honestly and you choose. Installation pricing here.

Is my refrigerant leak something I should worry about?

Yes. Refrigerant leaks waste energy, ice up the coil, and can damage the compressor (the most expensive part of the system). They are also illegal to top off without finding and fixing the leak under EPA rules. We do leak detection, repair, and EPA-certified recharge in one visit.
